Twice a year...2

We are pretty much hell-bent for spring now, but last week I revisited the spot I'd photographed in November when the green was a few sparse brushstrokes on a pallette of brown  and gray. I timed it just about right-- the colors were intense but sparse, and the light had that same diffuse quality I noted in the fall. Also, it was interesting to note that the shrubs that held onto their leaves the longest in the fall tended to be the first to leaf in the spring.
